Introduction

  Two Stage Extruder(Twin Screw Extruder +Single Screw Extruder)

  Construction Configuration

1st stage: parallel co-rotating twin screw extruder;

2nd stage: single screw extruder.

Parallel co-rotating twin screw extruder is designed with modular screw elements and barrels without extrusion head at the end so the melt can drop into the single screw extruder directly. Single screw extruder will complete extrusion and pelletizing process to realize steady output of material under higher rotating speed. This kind of two stage extruder features high capacity, steady discharge etc. According to material and processing, you can choose different pelletizing method, such as water cool strand, air cool hot cutting, water ring and underwater pelletizing or choose various molds or related auxiliary equipment for directly extrusion molding.

  Technical Requirements For Twin-Screw/Single-Screw Two-Stage Extruder Production Lines

1. The feeder is a single screw with an intermediate support, with a feeding capacity of 750 kg/h, tight sealing, and a safe operating time of over 8000 hours. The material is crushed.

2. The main unit has a power of 132 kW, 600 RPM, L/D = 40:1, and a production capacity of 500~650 kg/h.

3. Both the main unit and the feeder use domestically produced Siemens Bede motors and Emerson frequency converters.

4. The transmission box is domestically produced, and all parts must be interchangeable. The output torque T/A3 is not less than 6.2, and the safe operating time is not less than 20,000 hours.

5. The screw design requires no phase adjustment during assembly, and the screw and threaded components must be interchangeable. The threaded components use W6Mo5Cr4V2, vacuum quenched, with a hardness of HRC58~62; the mandrel uses 40CrNiMo material.

6. The screw barrel must be manufactured using a machining center, ensuring interchangeability, and the cooling pipes must be free of residue.

7. Solenoid valves must be CEME or equivalent brands, with sealing rings capable of safe use for over 8000 hours. Manual valves must be copper ball valves.

8. The screw barrel heater must be a cast copper heater with a thickness of at least 25mm, and the heating element must be an imported product.

9. The screen changing device must operate continuously, preventing sliver breakage and material retention at any point, and ensuring no material leakage. The hydraulic system must be leak-free. The screen changing action must be automatic based on pressure and accompanied by a signal indication.

The screen changing operation must withstand over 2000 safe cycles.

10. The vacuum chamber employs a guide channel design, allowing crystalline material to flow down the inner wall and be discharged through the guide channel. (Vacuum pumping device not required)

11. Main unit control system: Schneider switches and electrical components; Yangming solid-state relays; Siemens S7-300 PLC with temperature control module; Siemens touch screen; all field operations of the main unit are performed on the touch screen. The control system includes an isolation transformer.

12. Main unit diaphragm head orifice diameter is 3mm, outputting 25~30 strips.
