  Pelletizing Processing And Features

Polymer melt is cut off by high speed rotating cutter after extrusion from the mold. The pellet will be sent to cylinder water ring to cool and set before it is conveyed to the centrifugal dryer to separate water and pellets. Pellets shape can be cylinder, chessmen or ball, length depends on cutter rotating speed and diameter relates to extrusion hole.

This kind of equipment especially suit for the processing of plastics such as LDPE,HDPE,PP,PS,ABS,PC etc..

 

 

  Features And Advantages

1. As the plastic is scraped by cutter in melting state and solidifies by circuit water, it can be used for polymer of different viscosity. Pelletizing with the melting material will not generate any dust but get uniform pellet. Good for packing and transportation.

2. Discharge capacity and pelletizing speed can be automatically adjusted according to extrusion capacity; pellet size and shape can be changed manually.

3. Combines pelletizing with cooling, removing water tank to save floor space.
