The Tokyo International Environmental Technology Exhibition (N-EXPO) is one of the largest environmental exhibitions in Asia. It was first held in 1992 as the "NEW Waste Management Exhibition," and in 2000, to expand its scope, it was renamed the "NEW Environmental Exhibition." Over the years, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of major domestic and international companies and the strong support of visitors, the exhibition has grown into one of the largest environmental exhibitions in Asia.

Thanks to its easy accessibility, the degree of wear on threaded components and the inner lining of the barrel can be readily inspected at any time, enabling effective maintenance or timely replacement. If problems arise with the extruded product, they might go unnoticed, leading to unnecessary waste.

The main differences between twin-screw extruders and single-screw extruders lie in the following two aspects:

In a single-screw extruder, frictional resistance occurs in the solid-conveying section, while viscous resistance arises in the melt-conveying section. The frictional characteristics of solid materials and the viscosity of molten materials determine the conveying behavior. If certain materials have poor frictional properties, and if feeding issues remain unresolved, it will become even more challenging to feed these materials into a single-screw extruder. In a twin-screw extruder—particularly in a co-rotating intermeshing twin-screw extruder—the material transport is, to some extent, positive-displacement-based. The degree of positive displacement depends on the proximity of the helical flanks of one screw to those of the other screw relative to the screw grooves. By carefully designing the geometry of the screws in a tightly meshing, counter-rotating extruder, it is possible to achieve highly efficient positive-displacement conveying characteristics.
